This pack came out of our blue 1995 sealed Topsun Pokemon Booster box and straight into a sleeve. We brought these to PSA in Newport Beach, CA and submitted them for grading. After receiving a serial number and individualized sign, PSA began to seal the booster when they had to halt the process, the manager told us they did not have a plastic case for this product due to its unique thickness, but let us keep the grading sheet and serial number. If PSA had a case, this would be graded PSA 9 as written by the grading professional. If PSA eventually creates a case to hold packs like these, you can send it back and they'll likely just holder it for you.

This is the only one of these that has ever been graded PSA 9, as of today. That's right, the only one. It doesn't get rarer than that! This should be in a museum!

Printed in 1995 and released alongside the very first Pokemon Nintendo game in 1997, these are considered by Pokemon experts as the very first mass market printing of Pokemon Trading Cards ever in history. Printed by TopSun and published by. Own a piece of Pokemon history. No individual on the planet can claim they own a complete set of this series because there was no Master Sheet, and all the foils lacked a number. Printing the very first Pocket Monsters cards was risky for the publisher so numbers were limited, and due to those budgetary constraints, this set was never revised so it is full of rare error cards like numbering errors and randomized blue/green back printing.

No one kept track of this series and everything is randomized, so you might get either a blue or green backed card, and any one of X different classic foil cards.
